The reviews are starting to come in. appbite.com has a fantastic review by Maria Poeana. Maria gave Stack King an exciting 4/5. Late tonight tapscape.com posted their review. In it Shaun Campbell called Stack King “simple, addictive game-play.” Exactly what we were aiming for when we created Stack King. Simple, addictive and fun. tapscape.com gave Stack King a 9/10.
We are amazingly proud of our first effort in iOS gaming. Stack King has done well for us and we want more people to experience the magic that we programmed into it. To make that happen we made Stack King free for the foreseeable future with the update that we put out today. The update also includes some excellent new features.
- Custom levels created by the user with their photos
- Improved scoring system
- UI optimizations
- Korean localization
We hope everyone that hasn’t had the chance to try out Stack King yet will now be able to. Please, enjoy!
Stack King is competing in an app tournament. Each week Stack King will go head to head with another game on the App Store. Votes determine which app comes out on top and moves on to the next round. Voting opens today. Please vote for Stack King so we can continue on and square off against other fine apps.
“The guys over at Appy LLC know something about building casual mobile games, and there’s no better example than their first release for iOS devices called Stack King.”
“For such as relatively simple premise, Appy has hit casual gaming perfection with Stack King. Nine Over Ten 9/10 rates Stack King at a 5 out of 5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
We took great care to try and make all parts of Stack King be of excellent quality. Today we finished the Stack King Theme. Give it a listen; we are thrilled with how it turned out.
